I was 15 years old playing chamber music in a barn in the Berkshires when I realized the power of music can transport people and even transform lives - through the beauty of an artistic experience.

My name is Lura Johnson and my mission as a professional pianist is to create a world of beauty and emotion for audiences like you, to bring healing to our confused world.

I aim to bring to life the essence and emotion of the music I play – vividly - the way an actor embodies a role with full commitment.
I want to share with you the greatest gift that is uniquely mine to give: original, heart-felt, honest classical piano playing.
